Great location, but so loud!

We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Gotta say, the spot is super close to Balboa Island, which is awesome! But man, the noise from the room above us was ridiculous. Felt like I was in a banging contest! Plus, the breakfast at the hotel was pretty basic. Valet staff were nice tho!

We loved our stay at this resort that offers so many fun options for the kids. The multiple pools were fantastic, especially the ones with whirlpools after a long day. The location is perfect, just a short drive from the attractions we wanted to visit.

My kids wished there were more activities specifically designed for teenagers.

I absolutely loved lounging by the three stunning pools, especially the one with the waterslide—it was pure joy! Our room, a Double Room Two Double Beds Pool View, was spacious enough for my family to unwind comfortably. The staff went above and beyond, especially Rob, who made our dining experience at SHOR unforgettable with his warm hospitality!

The king room with a patio had air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and free toiletries. The kids' pool was amazing with a water slide. Loved the hot tub area with sun loungers. The fitness center was well-equipped. The staff was helpful while we enjoyed the lovely grounds. Great place for families!

Had a great time during our 5-night stay, mainly enjoying the variety of pools available. Even with the weather being rainy due to a rare tropical storm, the staff made sure we were entertained and had plenty of indoor activities. The room was a bit outdated, but the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The self-parking was a bit far from our room, making valet a better option after a while.

Overall, it's a lovely place with great amenities, but some maintenance and noise control would significantly enhance the experience.

Oh, you’ve got to try the vegan options at the on-site restaurant! The dishes were bursting with flavor and creativity. Plus, our server Rob was a total rockstar—his customer focus made our dining experience truly special!

Honestly, several of us who'd been there before said we wouldn’t stay again unless we got a discount during renovations.
